The small and gracious CAMPING EDEN, founded in 1967, lies at the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, immersed in the green and shadowy centennial pine woods of Marina di Grosseto. CAMPING EDEN is located less than one mile from the city center and about a third of a mile from an especially beautiful seashore – one that has been awarded for many consecutive years the European “blue flag” for the cleanness of its waters.

The wide sandy beach, mildly sloped, can be reached in a few minutes on foot or by bicycle (bicycles can also be rented from the management of the camping). The wonderful path through the still intact vegetation offers an ideal walk for families and children.

One can choose from organized bathing establishments offering all the comforts, and a qualified sailing and windsurfing school. Or one can opt for 6 miles of free beach, easy to access from the camping itself. There, the Mediterranean flora is intertwined with the sand dunes, where one can find one’s own peaceful corner in the midst of nature and far from noisy vacationers.

The relatively small size of CAMPING EDEN, coupled with a family-run management, guarantees very competitive prices and an especially welcoming atmosphere. The management pays careful attention to quietness, cleanness (amongst other renovations, the camping restrooms were completely updated in 2005), and respect for the environment. Indeed the camping, fully covered by the overabundant pine woods of the “Tombolo” area, is in perfect symbiosis with nature: nature has been fully respected when deciding the location of both the camping spots and the restrooms, in a way that offers our guests an exclusively privileged living space.

The bar and the mini-market – which are family-run as well – offer a selection of local products, always fresh and of high quality. We are proud of our business, which we conduct with the kindness typical of the almost lost tradition of the tiny shops known as “botteghe,” as well as the professionalism of those who do their job with love and passion.
